Cooper Kupp has had a very eventful start to his NFL career.
On the plus side, he's on a pace for 61 receptions, 770 yards and 5 TDs. That's great production for a rookie WR (comparable to what Torry Holt did as a rookie), particularly one drafted in the 3rd round.
On the down side, he could have (arguably should have), but failed, to catch the winning TD pass against Seattle, and had a key fumble and drop yesterday that could have changed the script.
Well, as the old saying goes... "adversity does not build character, it reveals it."
We're going to see what Cooper Kupp is made of.
If his errors cause him to lose confidence, it could limit him as a player. On the other hand, if he uses his mistakes as learning tools and motivators, it could become the catalyst for a great career.
I'm certainly rooting for the guy.
