Just trying to think when did...

players actually start using the pylon as the gateway to a TD? Seems there have been more then a few touch back TO's in the end zone due to the ball being placed over the pylon to score. Extending the ball away from the body and the ball either be slapped out, or just the player losing the handle on control.

I just don't remember in the past the amount of frequency it is tried.....maybe because of the rash of miscues it makes it seem to be a larger amount of attempts?
