“They’re a great team, we’re a great team,” Rams defensive lineman Michael Brockers said.
“It just wasn’t our day.” Michael Brockers
Just horrible isn't it? You not going to win every game. But you know what, the team can learn from this game and I'm telling you right now there were instances in this game that had they gone the other way we could be talking about a Rams victory.
Key instances.
Kupp's fumble at the goal line when if he holds onto the ball Rams most likely score to make it 14-7 Rams in the 3rd quarter.
Phantom touchdown that the officials totally blew. The back was on his back and the ball never crossed the plain of the goal line.
Roughing the passer. Rams had the Vikings stopped deep in their territory when it was only 14-7 Vikings and were going to get the ball when Aaron Donald lost his cool and stupidly shoved Case Keenum in front of the official.
Offensive pass interference call when it was 1st and 10 at about the Vikings 40 and the defensive back had grabbed Watkins but the official ruled it was offense. This made it 1st and 20 and the Rams stalled.
There were other instances as well.
Point is the Vikings didn't put the game away until the 4th quarter and that was due to the Rams defense being tired from being on the field too long.
