I said before the game that Goff has not been very good against good defenses. And I got push back from people here. But against the Vikes he was better. Is he good enough to carry an offense the way Wentz is right now? No. But Goff keeps improving. And Wentz was a senior at N.Dakota St. when he was Goffs present age.
And that QBR stat that ESPN created is laughable, it tries to show context but it just doesn’t work.
Let’s put Goffs 54.4 QBR against Wilson’s when he played the Rams.
Do you what Wilson’s QBR was against the Rams? 29.2
Throw that stat out, it’s a joke.
Here’s the real theme. The Rams have a gone from the worst offense in the NFL to a competitive one, and their 23 year old QB keeps improving game by game.
It’s ok for Rams fans to say they were wrong about Goff.
