That was not too specific a responce now was it :!.
Ok home field advantage loud domain.
Check.
......
I Mean what have you seen that has got yardage or first downs against that team .
Also thier nickel #20 seemed vulnerable.
Gimme 5 plays .
I gave alot on my first post.
Do you think any of those work ? .
If not then Tell me what will work .
If you know the team that well give me your best game plan .
Ideas ??
Realise Griffin didn't play Sunday but watching a decent chop of game showed Minn has some things to you can get their D with.
I saw RB Chris Thompson find favourable matchups vs Kendricks downfield.
Kendricks is a very good LB but they all get beat some times. Rams won't make a living there Sunday.Thier CB Trey Wayens got beat for 6 by a 1 week call up from practice squad and hasn't lived up to his selection in round 1.
Vernon Davis ate pretty well against them so I would think we should find Everett open down sidelines and in middle zones .
Crowder also did damge with in cuts from slot.
You kidding me? That was the catch of the year. Waynes was in great position, receiver made an all-world play n matter how much experience he had.Running was possible against them by using pulling guards and tackles and getting numbers to a side.
Running wide is not advisable against this team. Too much team speed on that side of the ball. Of course if you run inside you have to handle Linval Joseph which no one has been able to do.Also I believe I saw counter runs where right DE got sucked up with first direction then got sealed and Perine cut back into open lane.
Mis-direction works at times because a) Griffin has a tendency to lose the edge and b) they are very active and OVER-reactive at times. They reacted strong towards trips formation ..passing opposite that got production.
Unless Rhodes is the CB on the opposite side. There's a reason they say "Rhodes-closed" in MN. If you scheme that formation up then better be sure XR is on the bunch side. It's not hopeless .
I don't think you can just try to over power them going straight at them in a manhood battle.
Misdirect works ,
Challenge them deep or intermediate can work with your slot , TE or RB.
Sendejo is the weak"er" link on the back end, though I like him better than most. Smith is back to all-pro formMight be smart to try Fade to Gurley early within thier territory.
Hear me McVay .winking smiley
This is a VERY good defense with VERY good players which are well coached.
This is going to be a GREAT match-up.
R.I.P. Nelson aka TonyHunter87 1971 - 2017 far too soon..
Your last words to me: "Your a great guy RFIP. I was very sad when you left the board, and your son, but was glad to see you back. Take care my friend, may God be by your side." 09/09/2017 12:58AM
No Nelson, you were a far better man than I, and I am sure an awesome husband and father as well. I will miss you my friend. -RFIP
