How can you not at least try to get a first down to close out the game. In every possession in the 4th quarter, they basically took a knee and punted.
Why don't teams watch what Belicheck does? You know when he went for it on 4th an 1 to try to close out the Colts and didn't make it. The fact that he had that mindset is why that team wins. He figures out the best percentage play in winning the game.
Allowing teams to have a 2nd, 3rd, 4th chance to score a field goal to tie the game is not winning football.
The worst I have ever seen is when Green Bay lost to Seattle in the playoffs with Aaron Rodgers not attempting a pass in the final 3 drives of the game in a big Seattle comeback, but you see it every week in the NFL.
