Interesting topic.

I am going to reverse it.

How did the Rams do with injuries on the OL from 2006-2015? I don't mean a relatively healthy OL, which includes a player out now and then. Like in 2017. But an extensively injured OL with more than just a couple of replacements, or with guys playing hurt. I also count lines full of rookies, like 2015, as lesser OLs--a rookie here and there is okay but 4 very inexperienced starters isn't.

So I have 3 categories.

1. Games from 2006-2015 where Rams play either a back-up caliber #2 qb or a starting caliber qb, AND an extensively injured and/or very inexperienced OL: overall W/L record
2. Games from 2006-2015 where Rams play a back-up caliber #2 qb and a relatively healthy, intact and veteran OL: overall W/L record
2. Games from 2006-2015 where Rams play a starting caliber qb and a relatively healthy, intact and veteran OL: overall W/L record

For the record, category #3 includes the last 6 games of 2006, all of 2010, the 2nd set of 8 games from 2012, and the first 7 games of 2013.

Category 1: 28/86 -- 24.5% winning percentage
Category 2: 4/5 -- 44% winning percentage
Category 3: 18/18/1 -- 50.6% winning percentage

BTW if you add the 2017 games to Category 3 it becomes 24/20/1 or a winning percentage of 57.3%

If I were to include 2016 I would just make a separate category for OL + rookie qb.

Doing it again with rookie qbs starting as a new category. Adding in 2016 and 2017. Why the change? Cause I am just making this up as I go along. So I rethought it.

1. Games from 2006-2017 where Rams play either a back-up caliber #2 qb or a starting caliber qb, AND an extensively injured and/or very inexperienced OL: overall W/L record
2. Games from 2006-2017 where Rams play a back-up caliber #2 qb and a relatively healthy, intact and veteran OL: overall W/L record
3. Games from 2006-2017 where Rams play a rookie qb w/either a beat up line or a relatively healthy line (they're all losses so it doesn't matter): W/L record
4. Games from 2006-2017 where Rams play a starting caliber qb and a relatively healthy, intact and veteran OL: overall W/L record

Category 1: 28/81 -- 25.7% winning percentage
Category 2: 8/10 -- 44% winning percentage
Category 3: 0/12 -- 0% winning percentage
Category 4: 24/20/1 -- 57.3% winning percentage

Note: Goff even as a rookie wasn't Berlin or Null, so that one comes with an asterisk. That is, just him being a rookie is not in itself the cause for the record

QBs in category 1: too numerous to mention.
QBs in category 2: Clemens 2013, Keenum 2016, both of whom went 4-5.
QBs in category 4: Bulger (last 6 games of 2006), Bradford (2010, 2nd half of 2012, 2013), Goff (2017)
