I understand where you're coming from, 43, but at the end of the day, Seattle won that game.
Man, I remember the last time the Rams made the playoffs. We were 8-8. Eeked our way in as a wildcard. Two of those 8 wins were against Seattle. We beat them again, on their home turf to deep-six them three times in a year. Man, those were the days. Whatever you have to say about Martz, dude lived rent-free in Holmgren's head.
Here's my point: were the 2004 Rams an objectively better team than the Seahawks that year? Probably not. But against that opponent, we could do just enough to give them three really bad days.
This year, the Seahawks did just enough to give us one real bad day. Until we prove otherwise, they're the reigning NFC West Champs. So, for my part, let's prove it on the scoreboard, not on paper.
