Ok. I’ve seen enough.
I was sitting 6 rows behind the Rams bench. And I got drenched. People were slipping trying to get to their seats. My wife said let’s get out of the rain and get coffee inside. I said let’s wait until halftime.
Then I see Goff throw a perfect ball to Watkins that must have traveled 60 yards in the air. It came out of his hand like a rocket and cut threw the rain in a tight spiral.
I’ll add that Goff was in total command yesterday. On the field and off the field. He spent a lot of time before the game talking to Watkins on the sideline. And much of the game talking with McVay.
I think Goff is perfect for McVay's system. We may be looking at the modern day version of Walsh and Montana. I’m not saying all time greats, but the may end up being pretty close. And you can see the similarities in style.
