Seattle is no powerhouse.
If Wilson isn't brilliant, and they don't get a couple of calls going their way, they don't win.
Their defense is good; but no longer lights out. This makes them vulnerable every game regardless of who they play.
And the Redskins proved that even a depleted team can beat Seattle in their own crib if they play hard enough, smart enough, cause turnovers, and make life tough for Wilson.
I could easily imagine Seattle losing in the desert. Not terribly likely, but not at all out of the realm of possibility ESPECIALLY because it's a Thursday night game and neither team has a real chance to heal or to assess themselves. The game plan was made some time ago.
Weird stuff happens on Thursday nights, and I think the entire concept of playing a game in 4 days is absurd.
Arizona has a good home field advantage, they still have Fitzgerald, AP played like he was possessed this week, and they have an experienced D with some good players. And these teams know each other well.
Seattle has one formula for winning: Russell Wilson's off schedule plays. He runs around long enough for a WR to get lost in the shuffle and then he throws a bomb to him. That's it. Their running game (other than for Wilson himself) scares nobody. Their defense is good but not what it once was. The games are too close and a bounce here or there and Seattle has a couple more losses.
They are not a dominant team. But....they are experienced and confident and well coached and that can take you a long way.
They better pray that Wilson doesn't miss any games; because they'll lose every one of them that he's out.
