That's very true. The Rams 1999 schedule was the easiest (statistically) in the franchise's history. But all you can do when you play those games is win by 20-30 points and that's what they did pretty much weekly.
The Rams have had a relatively light schedule overall. ProFootballReference says they've had the 4th easiest so far. FootballOutsiders says 5th easiest.
And their 2nd half schedule is definitely harder. But they're 4-0 vs. "bad" teams and 2-2 vs. good teams. Repeat that in the 2nd half (split with MIN, SEA, NO and PHIL, win the other four) and they'd be 12-4 and division champions.
Possibly with a first round bye.
No shame in that...... especially not coming off 2016.
