I kind of addressed this in post before so I'll be brief .
Some who lack muscle mass or overt strength could be blessed with flexibility or durability or even some what 'soft bones '.
Even with other players I've seen twisted limbs happen on the field of play and thought a bad injury would surely result only to see a player come back pretty well afterwards and often unaffected except for a few plays off.

Goff might be blessed in the same wirey type way .
Sorta our 'Plastic Man" .
Knock on Wood .

But we obviously don't want to test this theory.
Hopefully Goff has some training not to over tighten his body or anticipate the hit too much .
I think there's a bit of science to it somewhat .,. maybe in the mid or upper body at least.
