I feel bad for Browns fans

November 01, 2017 11:16PM
No, seriously I do.

They are amongst the most loyal and passionate fans anywhere. That team hasn't won much of anything in decades. And finally they hope with all those draft picks and a new front office that perhaps things might be ticking upward.

Then crap like this happens. How do you mess something like this up? And even if the trade went through -- that's a big price to pay for a guy who may or may not be good.

If for some reason you don't think Kizer is the guy after just a few starts (which is way too early -- I mean, how did Goff look last year?), I'd rather take my chances on drafting someone else. And then (hopefully) building around him with all those draft choices.

If I were a Browns fan, I'd probably be despondent. This front office still doesn't seem to have a clue.
