I can't recall the exact title of the piece ("24 Hours with Sean McVay"?), but I recall an article detailing an OTA workout where there was some type of on-field mix-up between Goff and Woody that bothered the three of them (including McVay). The article mentioned that,
while on the way home that evening, Woods called McVay to discuss the play in question and how the mix-up could be rectified. That clearly told me that both a rapport and trust had quickly been established between the two (and likely Goff).
I wouldn't be surprised at all if Woods wasn't involved in offensive game-planning to some extent. And here's the kicker: I bet that a lot of his input might be on how to best utilize (or involve) the talents of other WR's on the roster (as opposed to just himself). Cannot imagine "Brick" bringing that to the table.
