9ers are swinging for singles and Garoppolo is about to become an expensive one. The Patriots used up all his cheap years and the 9ers just bought all his expensive years without knowing if he can even play yet. And even if he can play, his upside is not nearly what some of the guys they could have drafted in the first round and now probably won't will be.

I am enjoying the Shanahan / Lynch cabal in SF so far.
