I'm not much put off by early predictions. I pay them little heed.... sort of like reading my horoscope which I do religiously once, maybe twice, every decade.
What does trouble me, and I'm probably more guilty of this than anyone... is to feel 'comfortable' in saying 'it could all fall apart' but very reserved in saying 'I think we're going to make the playoffs'.... I mean - I 'get' it, the reasons why... but in doing so it spars with my sense of 'logic'.
