The threat that the Rams present in the air game has really opened up the run game and checkdown game to Gurley. That is not to dismiss what the Rams are doing on the oline because that has been stellar. However, the very threat of the Rams vertical attack is really opening up things for Gurley
Its also why we have seen the Rams try and intergrate Higbee more into the offense and why Kupp is such a featured target
I’d like to see the Rams use more play action in the redzone and throw more passes into the endzone and continue to target Watkins more
No need to be so cute or try to fool people when down there... find 3 or 4 things that you do really well done there and execute!
