Hard to believe but it was a spring exhibition game between the then minor league Los Angeles Angels. It was at the old Wriggly Field in south central L.A. Mantle came in in the late innings to replace the Yankee CF who may have been one of the DiMaggios (can't recall). Believe it or not Mantle was limping even then with his bad knee. Can't recall what he did at bat. Still the fastest player from home to first I've ever seen.
