Took the words out of my mouth James............McVay has the Rams playing sound, fundamental "oldschool" football.
For example...........
Rams are up 23-0 and he calls Gurley's #, ground and pound it down the Cards throat. Eats up the clock, brings in M.Brown to help carry the load. No fancy passes that go incomplete and stop the clock. No dumb reverses, no drop back passes for a sack. Just simple, get the ball to your RB and let your OLINE pound straight ahead for first downs and moving the chains.
My game ball goes to McVay and Co. this week. This coaching staff did an amazing job in Florida and London to keep the players focused on what the goal was........5-2..........Now, go enjoy a few days in London and get back to work.......beat the Giants and get to 6-2!
