Was it just me or were the dumb mistakes down quite a bit in the Jaguar game?

In the 49ers game, we played really well but made a number of mental mistakes that resulted in the game being MUCH closer than it should have been.

Again against Seattle we outplayed Seattle statistically and should have won easily, but were done in by some bad mistakes.

I was just starting to wonder if that will actually be our identity this year - a talented team that moves the ball and play well but shoots themselves in the foot with ill-timed mistakes. Not sure if the Jaguar game fits that mold though.

It is almost funny that each week I keep thinking "after this next game we will know more about who we are as a team." Then we play the game and I still don't know. I am thinking that again this week - I keep thinking that we still haven't had a game where we play well in all 3 phases, except perhaps against Indy. Sure hoping that game happens this week.
