Not predicting how many wins we'll end the season with. Hopefully higher than most predicted.
BUT, what is different this year is that I think the PLAYERS believe that they can win each and every game. I seriously doubt the players believed that they could or were going to win most of the games they played the last few years under JF. Unless it was Seattle or Arizona, the players seemed disinterested in playing. It was almost as if JF was satisfied beating those 2 teams and the rest didn't matter. Almost like at USC, you'd better beat ND and UCLA or there'd be h*** to pay.
McVay has the team believing in itself. They are buying in and that's a huge step forward and can't be discounted. All three sides of the ball seem to believe in each other and any one of the three can actually win a game. In previous years, the defense was the primary driver to winning a game with special teams a distant second and the offense non-existent. All three phases are coming together. Need to continue to progress but we are finally on the right path IMO.
It's a nice feeling on Sunday's now feeling that we can win any game. Whether we win 10 or more games this year is TBD but I'm enjoying watching Rams football again.
