Excellent point, speed. I hate the touchback rule, but... I think you are definitely right, the Seahawks DB's were primed and waiting for Gurley to reach out for the pylon-- they probably studied it and practiced it.
Judging from Gurley's post-game comments, he will be more careful about that move from now on.
