Seatle in Man on the outside, zone underneath with a free safety, a combination coverage. There is no pressure, Watkins is open...Wagner in the "hole" sees the crosser (Watkins) and is underneath, the left corner is in trail technique behind Watkins.
The go route on top clears out the area and draws the free safety. Goff eschews the check down which is open and goes for Sammy. Watkins is on an over route and seems to flatten it at the end and the ball is too deep.
Was there a screw up? Yes. Who? Not sure. Watkins, had he kept his original direction would have been very close to the ball. But how was is supposed to go? How was is practiced? DId Watkins always flatten the route? Did Goff overthrow? I have my suspicions, but I don't know for sure.
