To me that's why they lost. Yes, credit Seattle for being a really good defense, Wilson for being as slippery and athletic as they come at QB, and probably for them being a top 6-7 team overall.
But the Rams keep putting the ball on the turf and hurting themselves with that. 4 more fumbles, 3 lost Sunday. That's 13 fumbles in 5 games- 3rd worst in the NFL behind only Chicago and Washington. 10 turnovers overall. 29th in the league.
Austin cannot be trusted to return punts any longer. Just can't. His bag of tricks gets smaller and smaller.
