Re: Better durability than the GSOT teams??

Excellent question, gator.

Hmmmmm...

The O looks like it’s been set up for long term success. Whit will need to be replaced fairly soon, but that’s doable. All others are young and talented. I’m assuming that they extend Watkins.

The ST under Fassel are near the top every season. No reason to expect that to change, is there?

The D? Wade’s reputation speaks for itself. Meaning that it should improve as this season unfolds, although it’s not there yet. I foresee Big personnel moves for the D next offseason and they will be largely picked with the final approval of Wade for his scheme desires. And yeah, we can’t assume that Wade will stick around forever, although he does seem to be enjoying himself immensely. When and if the time for Wade to retire occurs, I have no doubt that McVay can and will find a strong replacement. I mean, there’s little to criticize about his current coaching hires, right?

So, bottom line? Absolutely, it looks like the Rams are set up for long term success. And it appears that McVay will be able to keep it that way indefinitely. A HR hire by the Rams and verrrrry bad news for the rest of our division.

Love it.
