he'll progressively get more reps

Johnson is playing heavily on ST (77 snaps) and has played 41 snaps on defense so far, 29 of which were vs. DAL. As long as Joyner's out he'll keep getting used and I think over time get steady situational playing time. I think they want to set him up to start in 2018. Get him 200 or so snaps on defense this year. He has a good future on this team.
