Reynolds had his head around to the right side of the defensive back, so a penalty there would have been a complete travesty and mockery. No way a flag gets thrown on that.
It also sent a message that the Cowboys received, loud and clear.
And don't think it won't be mentioned in the Seattle defensive meetings, either. Those guys are well-known for how aggressively they play. Knowing they will get as much as they give is what you have to do to any bully.
What Reynolds did, imo, is a sign of what this team is about. Everyone hustles. Everyone contributes.
My guess is McVay mentions it this week ... but in a way in which he compliments the effort and the hustle and the aggressiveness. He probably says, 'Always make sure you're clean on that, Josh ... but great job. Awesome.'
