That's a great story, herd good things about John Robinson too, Carroll Rosenbloom really liked Knox, handcuffed forcing Haden over Harris, who Knox preferred and which led to Knox wanting to leave Los Angeles for Detroit in 77, which Rosenbloom blocked, but then allowed him to leave after being shut out at home against the Vikings in the Mud Bowl.

It's too bad the second go round did not fair well, Georgia hired Knox because she knew CR felt he made a mistake letting him go and Frontier actually made Knox President of Football Operations back in 1992 along with Head Coach, but once John Shaw saw what the expansion teams were offering, he could not contain himself.
