I have never seen a player elevate a team like Rodgers can. That team is bad without him. It is really unbelievable what he does with so little.
I see a lot of pedestrian players and a few old good players like Nelson and Matthews. Then there is Rodgers who is a magician. He is perfect for the new rules.
I still maintain that back in the old days, guys like Lawrence Taylor and Deacon Jones would break Rodgers into itzy bitzy pieces if he tried the same stuff he can get away with now.
