We can't spend cap space on a couple of jet sweeps a game. Now he can't even hang onto punts. We need money to pay Donald, hopefully Watkins too. Orgeltree and Tru - who knows. Both may wind up leaving.
Next year we need picks to draft a lot of defensive pieces - edge rushers (we don't seem to have any standout ones), ILB depth to run Wade's defense properly.
This has been said a few times but I guess it bears repeating.
Trading Austin this year means they take a 5 M cap hit. They save nothing and owe an addition 5 M with a trade of TO.
I don;t think they can afford a 5 M cap hit.
