We currently have 66 points which is number 1 in the NFC and trails only the Raiders 71 and Chiefs 69.
For point differential we are +30 which is again number 1 in the NFC and trails only the Raiders +35 and Ravens +34.
It's early and we're just .500 but we have been at or near the bottom for points scored and differential for so many years. As a reference we scored just 224 and gave up 394 last year.
This feels pretty good and I have a hunch we'll add another +14 points to our differential after a road win on Thursday.
This is a good early barometer for our direction and as an example last year the Falcons scored 540 and gave up 406 and the Patriots scores 441 and gave up 250.
McVay knows today's NFL is about passing production and scoring points. I miss nothing about Jeff Fisher.
