We've are only 2 games into the season.... plus Watkins came to us late. "Repetition breeds familiarity." The dynamics of the passing game will probably change as the season progresses. I am in agreement with most everyone else, in trying to increase the targets for Watkins.
Also, watching Gurley play with such intensity, and.... OMG!.... VISION! He did a couple of things in the skins game that really shocked me. First, he was better at seeing the holes on inside runs, he seemed quicker to get to the outside edge and show his speed to the corner, and he made a nice jump cut for a great gain that I thought him not capable of doing. I think we should be more balanced in the run/pass game in San Fran.
