Saw the whole Redskins Eagles game;First, Pryor is a great deep threat, but someone like TruJo matches up with him because TJ understands his limitations in the speed category---he knows how to lay off and play the deep ball--Pryor's specialty. Pryor isn't a quick cutting guy like Brown of the Steelers, or Gary Clark, so I think we are ok there. Jordan Reed looks like his right foot is hurting him a bit, he didn't looks so explosive. Cousins has a great arm, but he isn't so, so accurate.
Cousins misses Desean and Garcon--he had a rapport with them, and they ran good patterns (when DeSean cared to, lol). I am not scared of the Redskins offense because Pryor looks one dimensional, and he isn't so great in many categories like DeSean could be when he was 'on'. The Redskins looked a little off the whole game at home.
The Redskin D looked very good to me. IF the Rams can put up 24 points, then I will be very impressed with McVay. I am not sure they can (without help from the D or special teams). Norman is still a very, very good CB who will go tooth and nail with Watkins; tough safety and tough LB from Buffalo (Brown). So, Kupp, Woods and Everett have to do their thing if the Rams want to pass the ball. Norman when he is on can shut down anybody (see 2015).
Can Hav handle Kerrigan??....Kerrigan seems to take advantage of mediocre players....so, I don't know.
Until I see more, the Rams and Redskins look like two 8-8 clubs....the winner may go 9-7 or 9-7+ (for the Rams)
I favor the Rams, slightly. McVay knows EVERYTHING about Cousines (what blitzes he couldn't handle, and what makes him antsy....so, that helps a lot).
Quinn had a good game against Trent Williams once (2012??)....if he can get some pressure, some times, that would be huge. Redskins have a good O line.
PS Wentz opinion from that game:
20%: excellent, elite, like Elway (not that good, but in that mode of playing style--very athletic elongating plays)
50%: like your avg 'good' NFL qb....(announcers love pumping Wentz up, but Mike Glennon is making these throws,
too!)
25%: not good, and below Goff, and prone to many throwing errors;or, doesn't have good foot placement.
5% : long and slow delivery, or you know where he is going
