I haven't seen this topic yet ... maybe I missed it.
As I was watching an NFL Network show (don't know which one, as I was doing some work on the computer). But I remember hearing someone say Goff reported to them that he was able to step to the line and still have McVay speaking (due to 15 second cut-off). McVay was helping him by saying, "Look at the coverage. Look at {receiver}. He's going to be open. Now go get us a big play."
As I recall, the announcers during the game kept saying that Goff seems to be going with a no-huddle. Could it be that the players knew the play, lined up, and McVay helped Goff scan the defense for awhile before the speaker in helmet was cut? I never thought of this possibility, and haven't heard any commentary on this until yesterday.
