Possibly McVay/Kromer decided that they could only handle just so many moving parts at one time in this massive first year renovation?
Like a juggler can only juggle so many running chain saws at one time? Lol.
Perhaps they chose to bring in the sure thing (although short term) Whit, rather than take a gamble on GRob?
Hard to argue that Whit hasn't stabilized the LOT position for the young Goff, huh? And then some, really.
In this way they could devote their attention to other pressing needs.
Maybe it's just that simple?
I wish GRob all the best, but he had his 3 years here and failed the test. I'm more than happy with the Ram decision.
