I give him a little benefit of the doubt since he missed preseason. Didn't expect him to get a lot of touches Sunday. But the reality is he's been passed on the depth chart by 3 legit WRs with a 4th and 5th (Reynolds and Thomas) in the wings developing as deep threats.
Add in the fact that McVay wants to use Gurley in the passing game and that they will likely target TEs more as the year goes along (4/6 for 68 yards to TEs vs. IND) and there's just not much available for Austin. Hopefully he cleans up the PR thing. He can get used in the backfield and have a few plays manufactured for him.
