Donald knows they won't. He still gets the game check and all the fines absolved. And no training camp! Works out pretty well for Donald... for the Rams? um not so much. Jerk move by Donald IMO because it was announced all week that Donald could play if he just came back in time. But instead of coming back Wednesday he chose the day before the game so he didn't have to play but still get paid.
On the other hand if he did come back and out of game shape and then proceeded to get hurt then that would be worse, for Donald (and the Rams).
Nonetheless it will be good to see him uniform.
