Throughout his career players play at a higher level for Reid and he gets better results. He has never really had a top tier QB, but made them more than they probably should be. You see Smith playing better than ever. You see McNabb overachieving with the Eagles.

Both Smith and McNabb came out of college with tons of potential, that was why they both were 1st selections in their repective drafts. So for both QB's there was a foundation to build from.

I agree that Coach Reid gets his players playing well, but both the Eagles and the Cheifs have/had good offensive players to work with.
