Quinn and Barron will be on a snap count vs Colts...

The Los Angeles Rams are arguably the healthiest team in the NFL right now, having no notable injuries to speak of. The injury report has been clean all week, and while Aaron Donald is obviously a big missing piece, every other player is good to go heading into Week 1.

Well, for the most part.

Mark Barron and Robert Quinn both sat out the entire preseason due to preventative injury measures as Sean McVay and the coaching staff aimed to keep them healthy for the season opener and beyond. That plan worked, but both players will be somewhat limited on Sunday.

“I think anybody that hasn’t practiced the whole time or whatever, we’ve got to be aware of Robert Quinn or even Mark Barron,” Wade Phillips said Thursday. “Some of those guys that haven’t been in live action during the preseason at all. We’ll have to be aware and monitor how many snaps they have. They’ll be on the snap count or pitch count or whatever.”

This shouldn’t be a major concern for either player, but it’s not an ideal situation. The Rams will aim to work Barron and Quinn back carefully and somewhat slowly, avoiding any possible re-injury.

Fortunately, the Rams are taking on a Colts team that will be without their starting quarterback and center, easing the burden of being without Donald, and likely their two linebackers for at least a handful of snaps.

Expect Barron and Quinn to be a full-go in Week 2 as they ramp up their workload.
