Why did Hemingway go on IR but Spruce and Forrest had to go through waivers first.
Because they were keeping Hemingway. Spruce & Forrest were cuts but if they are injured and go unclaimed after waivers they must go on your IR until you can reach an injury settlement.
Neither of these guys should be house hunting.
