From a fan's perspective it was a terrible call. From a rules standpoint it was the absolute right call. The problem is with the rule which is designed to protect the qb from getting nailed in the head. Where I take issue with the rule is-after seeing the play at issue-is that there apparently is no discretion given the call. If there was the penalty never would have been called.
Terrible call, just terrible.... Ref had bad able on that play and never should have thrown that flag.
Incidental contact by a finger should NEVER BE a 15 yard penalty.
NFL needs to fix this crap. ASAP !!! Should be reviewable.
