Wait. I thought our marvelous, progressive education system in which the kids basically run the school has made American society so much more advanced? But it turns out that attention spans keep falling and falling? I wonder.......ummmm, forgot what I was gonna say.
Point being: I imagine trying to teach these young rookies the playbook and technique is a whole lot different than it was 25 years ago. Perhaps young guys like McVay truly understands that. In fact, I recall reading about how the Rams meetings are shorter and use more graphics and different teaching techniques. We even see McVay running routes with the Receivers. I thought he was just doing it for fun, but it may indeed have a great deal to do with how many of these ill-educated kids MUST be taught.
