Like Fisher did before him.
When Fisher was hired the same people would have and did scoff at any suggestion he was a clown hire. Heck, many did all the way up until the opening game in SF last season.
Even though I'm much more a fan of the McVay hire than I was Fisher, it's still difficult to ignore the clown show that resulted in his selection or the enormous roll of the dice on such a young, inexperienced candidate. I'm not convinced they hired McVay for any better reasons than the reasons they got into a bidding war for and gave total control to a retrograde like Fisher. I'm hopeful they might have tripped over the right guy anyway but there are certainly good reasons to worry about McVay and, in turn, that Demoff's record of epic failure will continue.
