I have never heard a player say "practice is just as good as a game, maybe better. There's nothing a game can do to prepare me that I can't get from practice."
I have never heard that. But I've heard the opposite many, many times.
The last thing I want to do is start questioning our brand new coach who I absolutely love so far.
But if the Rams come out super rusty, not ready for contact, not ready to work together as a unit, and lose some winnable games in the early going, before the schedule gets really tough, this preseason approach is going to be questioned.
