THIS is exactly how I think, too. Thanks for your perspective.

Goff got beat up bad, and he always faced the fire of the pass rush, despite his slight frame. Goff is mentally tough, very good IQ, golden arm---those things haven't changed.

Rogers rookie year was worse than Goff:
The horrendous 2005 video of Aaron Rogers exhbition season shows how bad/unprepared Rogers was---maybe worse
than Goff--other than his great scrambling. I think every pass was 4-7 yards off the line of scrimmage....hilarious, I think I could do better...couldn't find one dang WR open.
