Has there EVER been this much hype around a non-QB's intelligence and preparation?

August 23, 2017 08:58AM
I can't think of one. People talk about this kid like he's Peyton Manning or Andrew Luck in terms of game prep and intelligence.

A name that comes to mind is Richard Sherman, and the great video they did a couple years ago detailing how he prepares for a game and studies his opponent's tendencies.

As someone who is sick of hyped-up "Athletic Freaks" who never live up to their potential, I feel like Kupp is an enormous gulp of fresh air. Football is a complex game, requiring brains just as much as brawn. And lets not forget he's 6'2" 205 with an elite 3 cone.

Give me all the hype. I will take ALLLL THE HYYYYPE!
