it was preseason game #2.
I know we are excited, and how can we not? After watching a pathetic display of football for a decade, we are now "seeing" things that we haven't seen in a long time. We see offensive talent we been void of for years...especially at WR. We see a young QB throw for 16-20. My math says that's 80% completion rate.
However, I remain guarded. I'm not ready to put this team into the playoffs. Next week will be a big test...really the final test for Goff and others.
Just remember, before we bury or crown any team, not just the Rams, it's a long season and these games do not count. Teams keep things more simple.
A lot of teams didn't even play their starting QB or front line players last night across the league.
So...yes exciting. But...right now for me...it's one week at a time. I'll actually be a little nervous watching the 1st team next week...nervousness generated by a little hope.
