Or perhaps that's a bad way to say it... I understand he may be 'elite'... more than just 'gravy'.
I'm ignorant about Watkins... all I know about him is what I studied when he was in the draft and many here were hoping for him. for the Bills I may have seen him twice? And in this last game there really wasn't a whole lot to go on. The only thing that stood out for me was using him in the shallow routes...I wasn't expecting that. Oh, and one other thing.. the guy is "tough". But that said.... and this ain't even CLOSE to doubts.. I trust the board.. I have no idea if he's elite in getting good separation on the deep(er) routes. He didn't on the one where Goff put it on the money.
Well my point is: Even without Watkins I think we were close to what you say we have with him. So it's all good. - JamesJM
