Hard to see on TV

So I'm not sure yet but it looks like we have, on average, more receivers downfield than last year.... and also... I'm not seeing what I thought was receiver screw ups last year in that Receivers aren't conflicting with one another in their routes.

Of course that could have been by design last year but if so it was goofy. The combinations of routes run by eligible receivers on every given play seems to spread the defenses more.. and mish-mash who is going deep - mid - and under.

I don't think there is as clear a distinction this year about who is the 'deep' threat... the 'mid' threat, and the 'under' threat. That's ALWAYS the case, obviously, even under Fisher... but I think under McVay it's more 'random', if you will... not really the word I was looking for. - JamesJM
