Very few teams could afford the lousy oline play that the Seahawks have had, and be successful.
But Wilson is just so slippery, and smart with the ball.
I watched the first half of last night's game against the Vikings.
He did get sacked once that I saw. But on other plays he was practically toying with the pass rushers.
Kept his eyes downfield until they got close to him, then just casually pivoted away from them and ran to an open spot to make his pass.
It was like avoiding the rush was something he really didn't even have to think about. He just did it automatically while processing other stuff.
Then he just threw the ball away whenever there wasn't something there. Made big plays whenever there was something there.
Nothing was forced.
And that's how they do it.
